2017 New Beginnings

Its officially 2017 now, and the New Year has begun. I say this because today was Emil's first day back at work after having the past 13 days home with us. Oh, it was hard saying goodbye this morning... But I was quickly filled with excitement for this year! We have so many exciting things planned for 2017, starting with getting things ready to welcome our second little baby into our family. I haven't posted in just about 4 months, and lots has happened! ;)

On September 9th I found out that I was pregnant with our second baby, and Emil and I couldn't be more excited! On December 12 we found out that it is a girl and sometime middle May we will be welcoming our little cupcake into the world! Liam is going to be the best older brother. He has grown so much over the past 4 months since I last posted. We celebrated his 1st birthday in December, and he is walking and running everywhere now. He says "Dada" "ball" "done" and makes sheep animal noises as well as gives bear hugs. He has made the past 21 weeks of this pregnancy absolutely fly by and he is the light of my day. <3

Between baby expecting excitement, Emil has some work trips coming up, we will be getting another nephew on the Bandy side as well as a new Brother-in-law, which means a wedding! Such exciting times ahead! One of my goals for 2017 is to pick up my blogging again and do my best to be consistent. The past 4 months have been riddled with some morning sickness and exhaustion, so blogging just hasn't happened. I hope for that to change here as the year continues! =)

So far this week will hopefully consist of getting back into a routine for Liam and I, as well as recovering from the holidays. Yesterday Emil and I were able to go out for the afternoon and plan out our budget for the year as well as share goals we have for our selves for 2017. My big goal is to have a baby ;), as well as to get back on track with personal devotions in the morning. I have lots of craft projects planned for when Emil is traveling, as well as new etsy shop goals! I hope that you all will enjoy the little peaks into our life as we live it this year!
